We are looking for a high energy person to work from home and manage all sales and marketing functions for the Western Canada area. Key territory management functions include sales, market development, market intelligence, budgeting/forecasting, and strategic input; with the intent of maximizing contribution margins, logistical efficiencies, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities apply to both existing and new accounts. Major responsibilities will be in the agricultural fertilizer sector. Close coordination with senior sales and marketing management, distribution, customer service, and other Area Managers will be critical to the accomplishment of overall group objectives.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.), preferably with business and/or agriculture emphasis, and three to five years experience in an agricultural related business sector. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Requirements also include a successful history of wholesale or retail sales along with excellent communication skills, demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills, and initiative.
