The second program prepares the successful candidate for a position in Counter/Inside Sales. This program is 18 to 26 months in duration and consists of five training phases.

Beverage Equipment Merchandiser for a global leader in branded foods and beverages.

Job description :

A T11A Beverage Equipment Merchandiser has an assigned territory of food service accounts and on a part-time ongoing basis does the following:

· Verify Beverage equipment

· Perform Preventive Maintenance on Beverage equipment

· Provide Beverage product compliance

· Update basic account information

· Report sales leads, service and repair needs

· Develop relationship with account

· Distribute merchandising materials

· Complete online reports accurately and on a timely basis

Pay Rate:

· $13.00 - 14.00 per visit

· Mileage available (to be discussed further at time of interview)

· $.40 per call report form

Job Requirements:

· Flexibility to work Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM (no lunch time visits) on a varied visit schedule (2-4 times per year)

· Reliable transportation

· Computer, printer and high speed internet

· Complete training and certification on an ongoing basis

Leighway Productions is a fast growing video production located in Barrie Ontario and is looking to bring on board talented Video Editors and Videographers to help keep up with the high demand for video products in the Barrie area. Leighway Productions provide high definition commercial and infomercial video products as well as a web TV show that will be premiering soon. We are looking for talented, creative and self-motivated people with skills in Video Editor/Videographers to become part of the Leighway Productions team.

As a Video Editor/Videographer you will be working closely with all aspects of field production including shooting, lighting and audio. In addition you will lend your energy, drive and creativity to the production team as an editor, taking the raw and turning it into a professionally cut final product that are clients are satisfied with.

Key Responsibilities include:

Videographer

Co-ordinate and communicate production arrangements in tandem with the rest of the production team
Receive and understand production scripts and shot lists for a shoot,
Set up and pack away equipment when required at shoot locations
Set up camera, lighting and audio equipment on shoots quickly and efficiently
Understand shot design and be able to film shots that are will fit and that will flow together in editing
Ensure the quality of the shoots making sure all shots are well framed, well lit, with clear audio and sharp focus
Represent Leighway Productions in a positive professional manner, ensuring the shoot is a positive experience for the client

Essential Competencies:

Comprehensive understanding of how to operate a HD digital video camera
(some additional training in using the Sony EX3 will be provided)
Experience in how to light for video using a professional video lighting kit
Knowledge in how to record audio using an external boomed microphone setup
Be able to work with actors and people giving testimonials to produce a strong confident performance that will ensure a top quality product can be provided


Editor

Transfer clips from camera hard-drive to external hard-drives and into video editing software
Edit footage into professional video segments using professional video editing software including adding text, V.O. and background music as required
Deliver edits on schedule and consult with production team on all requirements
Upload and produce the finished product in all required formats
To be able to edit from home or have some place where you can edit independently
Make adjustments/changes to edited work to fit clients specific needs and requirements

Essential Competencies:

Comprehensive understanding of either Final Cut Pro/Premier Pro etc editing software

A working knowledge of After Effects is a big plus for commercial editing

ASSISTANT MANAGER - Niagara Falls, ON

Job Description:
This is a highly intense service oriented position, involving working as a team player and maintaining the repute of the hotel. There are essentially two seasons operating at our facility, the “off-season” and “on-season”. The “on-season” will involve lengthy hours, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The “off-season” is quite the opposite, less working hours, generally assisting in maintaining the hotel and supervising and/or undertaking projects required for the hotel. The following are the general and daily duties;

General Duties:
- Support and execute tasks delegated by the Senior Manger with all the aspects of the hotel operations.
- Assist in scouting surrounding competitors, and a making marking recommendations.
- Communicate with other managers to plan large events.
- Assist in developing and implementing policy and procedures at the hotel.

Daily Duties
- Schedule and supervise staff to ensure consistency and efficiency in day to day operations.
- Assign room duties to housekeeping attendants, and follow up with hygiene inspections.
- Assign maintenance to maintenance crew at our facility, and follow up with their work.
- Maintain check in and out customers on a daily basis.
- Maintaining and supervising occupancy levels of the hotel, especially during the “on-season”.
- Provide customer service as needed.

Optional Duties
- Assist in repairing and/or renovating rooms in the “off-season”
- Undertake assist in projects involved with the hotel
- Undertaking or attending workshops to assist in improving the gross income of the hotel

Job Requirements:
Have prior experience in the hospitality/customer service industry
- This is an essential requirement. Previous experience in high stress and customer satisfaction environments is essential. The previous experience must involve servicing or catering to customers in an intense environment.
Bilingual especially English, Punjabi and Hindi will be significant factor.
- Preference will be given to these individuals, as the owners of the hotel are fluent in these languages, and clear communication between the owners/managers will create a successful relationship.
Business oriented and team player
- Previous experience of working in a team environment is crucial for a successful applicant. There are two group of staff that the assistant manager will be required to supervise, and ensure they all work as a team.
