Winfield Business Unit: Winfield Solutions is an industry leader in crop protection and farm seed products, providing insights an expertise in this area. Our brands include AgriSolutionsTM crop protection products and CROPLAN GENETICS seed.

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for sales and distribution management for Winfield Solutions CPP wholesale sales in Canada. Focus on proprietary plant nutrition & adjuvant products - sales & technical support and growth. Align customer and LOL strategies into integrated business plans that result in effective marketplace execution, profitable sales growth, and long-term success in the marketplace. This role is the key contact point for General Manager and Dept. Manager levels, while working cross-functionally with U.S. Based marketing & technical resources to grow accounts and seek new business opportunities.

Position is based in Canada.

40 %Sales
- Responsible for the sales of CPP proprietary products (emphasis on plant nutrition & adjuvant) through assigned accounts with wholesale program delivery of applicable CPP wholesale programs.

- All B-B functions associated to product order, invoicing, delivery and reconciliation.

- Provide purchase and market recommendations, along with innovative business solutions, to accounts; special emphasis on contact with general manager and department heads.

20%Key Account Management
- Strategic customer business planning (maximize return on investment)

- Development and execution of Enterprise Business Plan and Strategies coordinating the integration Winfield Solutions' resources.

- Implements planning and coordination process for all accounts in area of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for the coordination both internally and externally.

10%Business Development
- Identify business development growth opportunities in existing and new markets through acquisition or relationship opportunities.

- Participate in strategic thinking for business growth in Canada

- Work cross-functionally with Winfield business development & marketing teams on growth opportunities


20%Technical Support
- Provides technical insight to internal and external sellers and growers on in field complaints about micronutrient product performance. Accesses U.S. based expertise as needed (agronomist team, micronutrient specialist, etc.)

- Educate customers on proper positioning and recommendations for plant nutrition & adjuvant products for all crops.

- Represent Winfield as technical trainer to external customers and aligned industry organizations on nutrition issues and the relation to Winfield's product portfolio.

- Modifies or develops technical bulletins, sell sheets or any other publications or market positioning tool concerning nutrition or adjuvant products for Canada market.

- High interaction with Winfield registration group to lead input on label verbiage generation, modification and review.

10%Supplier Relationships
- Responsible for maintaining strong, vibrant relationships with key supply partners & vendors, in coordination with U.S. based Sourcing & Marketing teams.

Required (Basic) Experience & Education: - 4 Year College Degree in agriculture related field (or Canadian equivalent)
- 5-7 + years Agriculture Industry experience in a Business to Business setting with demonstrated sales success
- Deep technical and industry specific expertise with crop protection products and/or seed.

- Other skills: Able to walk and work in field plots, good written and verbal communication skills with all levels, presentation skills, concentration, memory and decision making all part of normal job. Daily travel, extended hours and overnight travel required.

- Environment: farm machinery can be loud, fields are dusty and dirty, and weather conductions can vary from hot and humid to cold and wet.

Preferred Experience & Education: - Preferred experience in sales of micronutrients and / or adjuvents a plus.

They are looking for an Business Development Representative.

Are you a Business Development Representative who can do the following:

  • Deal effectively with clients through initial customer contact by cold calling, industry contacts and research being aware of current projects and RFPs; while ascertaining client and vendor requirements by identifying the region and keeping abreast of industry standards/changes.
  • Utilize an inquisitive, intuitive attitude, be willing to learn and grow and have the drive to accomplish goals in a large diverse company.
  • Communicate effectively with different personalities and decision makers from all walks of life company-wide and be aggressive in fact-finding, aware of internal contacts and know how to obtain information from them.
  • Establish excellent rapport and work cohesively with the VP of Operations, Operations Manager and the Technical Inside Sales Rep daily and through weekly conference calls.
  • Possess highly developed communication skills (oral and written) with strong leadership abilities and the capability to be cross trained.
  • Fully utilize the Microsoft 2010 suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint (to create reports) as well as Timberlines (estimating software), Outlook, internal technical software proprietary to the company and training resources to improve technical skills.
  • Be able to travel throughout 50% of the time to Manitoba and Regina to obtain new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients and utilize the existing network to find new leads.

Do you have the following requirements:

  • Journey man, Electrician or CET designation with experience in sales
  • 5+ years of sales experience with solid knowledge of the full sales cycle
  • Experience required in the Power System Solutions industry with knowledge of RFPs and RFQs

Job description :

A T11A Beverage Equipment Merchandiser has an assigned territory of food service accounts and on a part-time ongoing basis does the following:

· Verify Beverage equipment

· Perform Preventive Maintenance on Beverage equipment

· Provide Beverage product compliance

· Update basic account information

· Report sales leads, service and repair needs

· Develop relationship with account

· Distribute merchandising materials

· Complete online reports accurately and on a timely basis

Pay Rate:

· $13.00 - 14.00 per visit
