Search Engine Marketer / Web Analyst - Vancouver, BC

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual with experience in SEO and Web Analytics to expand our prospects in the global market. The successful candidate will help execute and shape both SEO and Analytics projects, creating strategies to increase and analyze traffic on clients sites.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Plan & execute all aspects of SEO techniques to increase customer visits and lead generations; including meta tags, site url structure, SEO friendly page construction, creative content with SEO enhancement, target keyword lists, link campaigns, submissions, report, analytics, etc.
- Conduct keyword and user research in order to provide the improvements in organic traffic.
- Continuously improve tracking, reporting and profitability of the SEO efforts
- Help implement, troubleshoot, and analyze web analytics implementations
- Identify new market opportunities and maximize program profits to increase rank of natural search result listings on Google, Yahoo, etc
- Coordinate with internal team members to accomplish SEO tasks

Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 2 years experience in a SEO agency or large ecommerce organization, with a proven track record of success
- Strong technical knowledge of web site design and development
- Strong technical knowledge of web analytic and research tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Requirement:
* Expertise with Google Analytics and/or Omniture Site Catalyst
* Expertise in SEO knowledge is a MUST, as well as SEM is a plus
* Track records of recent successful SEO cases (May be required to present the actual case and the present google ranking status)

Strong Spanish language skills desired.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The position we are advertising for is that of the General Manager for our newly founded Canadian operation.
The responsibilities will include managing the daily operations, the creation and execution of a Sales and Growth strategy for the Canadian market (with a specific focus on the ‘Oil-Sands’ industry), the identification and hiring of new staff, the adaption of the European and American training programs for Canada and the training of own new employees as well as customer personnel.
