Job Description:
The purpose for this position is to streamline the temporary procurement process, act as a liaison between our client and North American On-Site and strive to achieve the mutually beneficial objectives set forth by both parties. Key activities include establishing and maintaining client/supervisor and temporary employee relationships, recruiting, interviewing.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Manage priorities to service client.
Fill or outsource open orders.
Manage daily account activity with regard to the on-site client.
Assist in the selection of Secondary Vendor.
Develop and maintain excellent and consistent service (arrival, performance and extension contact) through effective daily planning and follow up.
Manage employee turnover and retention.
Perform recruiting activities, including but not limited to, regular classified advertising and networking with centers where skilled candidates are likely to frequent.
Conduct thorough interviews, background investigations and testing to maintain a pool of skilled employees at all times.
Regularly contact HR/Manager/Supervisors for the purpose of making them aware of the availability of skilled employees.
Use the automated system to record information learned and maintain current client, candidate and temporary employee records.
Use of prescribed tools: Job Order forms, Interview Data Forms, New-Hire Paperwork and applicant process, the automated system, etc.
Oversee safety program.
Complete On-Site accident investigation and coordinate with Risk Management department at the Support Center.
Develop value added business within client location.
Conduct New Hire orientation and introduction for all new start temporary employees.
2. Manage Management/Supervisor Needs
Participate with management and supervisors regarding planning and productivity.
Coordinated efforts or communication regarding employee issues to address, incentives, safety meetings, etc
Handle inquiries, concerns, issues, etc with prompt attention.
3. Manage Contingency Staff
Maintain open door policy for North American On-Site employees
Manage pool of employees, including hiring, firing, conducting performance evaluations, and counseling for improved job performance.
Provide recognition for outstanding North American On-Site temporaries.
4. Provide Client Customizations
Reporting
Invoicing
Orientation
Testing
Training
5. Participate in Team Building
Become familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Onsite Manager Manual.
Attend and contribute feedback at all office meetings.
Attend and participate fully in all training opportunities.
Interact regularly with the sales and administrative staff to ensure accurate and complete communication with client and temporary employees.
6. Perform Administrative Duties
Process weekly temporary payroll and maintain temporary employee personnel files.
Process new-hire paperwork for temporary employee candidates.
Conduct candidate testing.
Maintain central filing system.
Complete all sales reports as required by North American On-Site, including but not limited to, the daily sales plan.
Meet with other staff regarding client needs.
Be available for regular performance reviews with Sales Manager to assist in personal development and the improvement of overall performance.
Participate in civic and professional organizations when needed.
Special projects as assigned by Manager.
Required Skills
Minimum of two years customer service experience, HR or related business experience. Management and/or staffing experience preferred.
Professional appearance, responsible and flexible with a sense of urgency
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to travel when necessary to attend sales meetings and training classes.
College degree or equivalent work experience
Computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel (helpful) and the Internet
Proficient time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Organized, objective and detail oriented
