Using the latest in web technologies, we offer a massive selection of airlines, flights and fares, many never previously available online, so you can find the lowest prices and best schedule options for all your international travel.

Thanks to our strong growth in Canada, we are looking for a full time brand manager.

The challenge

We intend to take its organization to the forefront of the online travel market in Canada, a tough target but one that is accompanied by good opportunities. We are therefore looking for a Brand Manager who can identify with our aspirations and who has the drive required to play an important role together with our Business Manager and the other members of our management team.  

Position description

  • Our Brand Manager will position the brand in the market and will be involved in publicity and communication, such as commercials, sampling and so forth.
  • You will create the future of our brand and you will be responsible for short and long-term development.
  • Advertising and marketing will be part of your duties and this therefore includes providing appropriate content for our website, newsletters and other promotional activities to the target audience).
  • Our Brand Manager will determine the type of message with which we can most effectively reach consumers and will utilize different publicity and communication channels for this purpose.
  • You will be responsible for the achievement of the goals and targets set by us and for managing the various budgets made available for this purpose.
  • Maintaining contact with the media, airline companies and other relevant parties will be essential.
  • It is important to have a vision of the market in this sector. Our brand manager will closely monitor trends and will be familiar with what consumers want.
  • Executive information and reports will be essential and will be presented to our business manager every week together with advice concerning specific features of the Canadian online market.

Job Requirements

  • Residency in or near a major Canadian city (Quebec; Montreal; Toronto; Ottawa; Vancouver; etc)
  • highly proficient with oral and written communication in both English and French
  • the ability to think and work at the senior management level
  • experience in a similar position within the travel industry
  • commercially oriented and able to negotiate directly with airlines and other travel partners
  • good communicative and organizational skills
  • pronounced affinity with e-commerce and the travel sector
  • ability to travel  to the head office in the Netherlands
  • other qualities: creative, analytical, good with numbers, motivated, responsible, achievement-focused, independent and capable of taking the initiative

Management Trainee - Edmundston, NB

Overview:

Regardless of university/college major or professional experience, nearly 100% of our full-time employees start out in our Management Training Program. This allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand how they play a significant role in seeing it succeed.

Once you've completed your initial orientation and training, you'll be assigned to a branch office in your home area and the hands-on training begins. Qualifications:

A university degree or college diploma is required.
Experience in sales, customer service and management is preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two chargeable moving violations or accidents within the last three years.
No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in past 5 years.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in Canada.
