Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Tractor-trailer, Tractor-trailer A train, Tractor-trailer B train

Documentation Knowledge:
Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience:
Trip recorder (on-board computer), Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling:
Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform emergency roadside repairs
Additional Skills:
Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers, Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
