Job Description:
Two law firms in Barrie with similar IT needs are immediately seeking to share a full time IT technician for network support. The successful candidate will be offered part time employment with each firm. Key responsibilities include:
• installing, maintaining and troubleshooting operating systems and software, including Microsoft and other applications
• monitoring data integrity, back-up, firewall and anti-virus software
• liaising with software vendors
• offering recommendations for software upgrades where appropriate
• training end users on software
• trouble shooting software, network and printing problems
• general assistance with all for the firms’ technology needs
Both firms use Microsoft Outlook and Blackberries and a variety of specialized legal software, with two servers and approximately 20 workstations.
The qualified candidate must have experience in network support including working with mobile devices. Excellent communication skills are required.
