Job Description:
High paced aviation/forestry company seeks Project Manager/Job Coordinator. Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience coordinating, supervising and training field crews and be able to monitor job performance to ensure productivity. Successful candidate must have GIS training and / or field experience and be computer literate utilizing mapping programs, database programs, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as having experience programming GPS and radio equipment. Should have experience with safety management systems and be able to train and monitor field crews in accordance with company standards. Responsibilities include contract review and compliance for various projects, scheduling work crews, liaison with government agencies and other parties, overseeing work performance and administration of pay related reports and forms for field staff Successful candidate will be detail oriented, reliable, well organized team player with exceptional multi-tasking skills. Seeking individual with proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a background in troubleshooting and problem solving. Previous RPF, Forest Tech or Survey Coordinator experience an asset.
