High paced aviation/forestry company seeks Project Manager/Job Coordinator. Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience coordinating, supervising and training field crews and be able to monitor job performance to ensure productivity. Successful candidate must have GIS training and / or field experience and be computer literate utilizing mapping programs, database programs, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as having experience programming GPS and radio equipment. Should have experience with safety management systems and be able to train and monitor field crews in accordance with company standards. Responsibilities include contract review and compliance for various projects, scheduling work crews, liaison with government agencies and other parties, overseeing work performance and administration of pay related reports and forms for field staff Successful candidate will be detail oriented, reliable, well organized team player with exceptional multi-tasking skills. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The position we are advertising for is that of the General Manager for our newly founded Canadian operation.
The responsibilities will include managing the daily operations, the creation and execution of a Sales and Growth strategy for the Canadian market (with a specific focus on the ‘Oil-Sands’ industry), the identification and hiring of new staff, the adaption of the European and American training programs for Canada and the training of own new employees as well as customer personnel.
There will also be an ongoing interaction with the Austrian Head office as well as with the German and US branch offices required, in order to align and properly manage ep-cm’s global strategies and international customer projects. Frequent travel to these countries, especially in the first year of our new Canadian branch office, is to be expected.
One of the big international projects ep-cm is currently supporting is a global rollout of a new ‘Work Preparation and Maintenance planning’ software to all refineries of one of the largest Oil & Gas companies of the world, which also runs several refineries in Canada. The General Manager will be responsible for the Canadian part of this project as well as for the smooth integration of the same with the overall global project.
ep-cm has been established in Austria in 2004, where the head office still resides. In 2006 the US and German Branch offices were opened and now, in 2009, the Canadian office opens its doors.
