Job Description:
Experience Requirements:
* Experience with municipal / Ontario Ministry of Transportation road / highway building contracts
* Strong knowledge of asphalt and granulars
* Post-secondary education preferred (Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma ideal) but will consider strong experience as well
* Prior project management experience of road / highway build projects and related project staff
* Prior estimating experience an asset
* Strong organizational and management skills
* Strong communication skills
Additional Notes:
* project management experience is more relevant...individual can initially work with an Estimator and grow into estimating side, but by the end should be able to bid and administer a job and be the key contact between the company and the client's contract administrator, do change orders, claim negotiations, etc.
