Job Description:
Part-Time Office Administrator (20 - 30 hours/week)
Duties and responsibilities:
Assisting the president of the company with the day to day activities of the business.
Ordering all supplies for the office and maintain all office equipment.
Helping team of engineers and software developers with office administration activities.
Opening, distributing and preparing incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages.
Collecting suppliers’ invoices and reviewing them.
Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, memos, etc.
Preparing and following up Purchases Orders.
Managing timesheets and expenses.
Preparing bank deposit slips and depositing cheques at the bank.
This is an ideal position for someone who would like to work in a dynamic and friendly engineering environment. An ideal candidate will have a mature personality and skills pertaining to the functions listed above. Candidates must be accurate and comfortable with numbers. It is desired that applicants have a background in economics or accounting.
