Duties and responsibilities:
Assisting the president of the company with the day to day activities of the business.

Project Completion:
o Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format.
o Consolidate reports and appendices using Adobe Acrobat.
o Print, collate and bind reports and other materials as requested.
o Generate transmittal documents and prepare reports for distribution/delivery by courier, email, and/or internet.
o Assist project managers with completion of profitability spreadsheets, reviewing for accuracy.
o File and archive electronic and physical documentation and reports for all projects.
o Perform project closure tasks for all completed projects.
o Assist in preparing project profiles for key projects.

Daily Administrative Support
o Unlock and lock filing cabinets as required.
o Open and process all incoming mail, faxes and couriers and prepare outgoing mail and couriers as requested.
o Answer telephone calls.

Regional Sales Manager - Calgary, AB

Job Description:

Lapp Canada Inc. a leader in cable technology, industrial connectors, systems solutions and communication technology is looking for a Regional Sales Manager residing in the Edmonton or Calgary area. The position itself will be concentrating on developing the wire and cable, connector and connectorized solution business for Lapp Canada in Western Canada, particularly in the oil & Gas Market in Alberta. Sales responsibility will be heavily focused on sales “pull-through” activities targeted at identified secondary and tertiary vertical markets.

Some of the key responsibilities in conjunction with this position are as followed:

Develop forecasts and sales plans in conjunction with assigned territorial distributor partners. Works with Marketing and the OEM sales organization as required positioning the company with identified primary vertical market target accounts. Aggressively seeks new authorized distributors as required to meet Regional sales objectives. Submits and enters call reports into ACT on a daily basis. Prepares and submits monthly activity status reports. Provides product training to agency representatives, customers and distributors, establishes sales incentive programs and participates in trade shows and promotions.

We are looking for a minimum of six (6) years of direct selling experience in wire and cable or related products, two (2) years of which was spent in a managerial capacity. In addition, demonstrated familiarity of industrial distribution channels is a plus. Furthermore excellent presentation and communication skills are required.
