Job Type: Fulltime
Job Description:
• Provide full time instruction in Steamfitter/Pipefitter theory and practical steamfitting/pipefitting for the Apprenticeship and Pre-employment programs.
• Responsible for evaluation of student progress and student reports.
• Responsible for promoting safe working habits.
Minimum Qualifications
• Journeyman certification in Steamfitting/Pipefitting.
• Completion of an Alberta Apprenticeship and Red Seal preferred.
• Welder Certification would be considered an asset.
• Several years experience in the Steamfitting/Pipefitting field.
• Adult teaching/tutoring experience would be considered an asset.
• Must be well organized with excellent communication skills.
• Must have some knowledge of computer software.
